· All money raised will be going to Tooting and Balham Sea Cadets to be used for vital funds to support the Charity to help provide opportunities for their cadets.
Customers at Sainsbury’s Nine Elms Temp Store are set to be offered a helping hand at the till by a local cause. Volunteers from Tooting and Balham Sea Cadets will be providing a bag-packing service for customers on Saturday and a few more dates, please ask in store for more details, to raise money for vital funds to support the Charity to help provide opportunities for their cadets.
The charity, situated in 89 Mellison Road, has been supported by Sainsbury’s Nine Elms Temp Store for many years.
Katie Purcell from charity who will be taking part in the bag-pack which runs from Saturday 20thh December 2014 to Wednesday 24th December 2014 said: “We’re really looking forward to helping pack Nine Elms customer’s shopping and would like to take the opportunity to thank Sainsbury’s for their support and helping to raise awareness of our charity.”
Customers will be able to make a donation to the charity on the day, with collection buckets being situated on the back of every checkout.
Store Manager Andy Robins added: “It’s always helpful to have support during the busy summer holidays, so we’re delighted to invite Tooting and Balham Sea Cadets to help us out and we hope the day helps to raise awareness of our partnership with them”.
