British Queen celebrates

Romelu Lukaku, the Chelsea striker, has been presented with a tempting offer of £16 million per year to join Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia. Lukaku, who is expected to seek a departure from Chelsea

this summer, met with Al-Hilal officials in Paris on Monday to discuss the potential move.

However, Lukaku initially expressed some reluctance about relocating to Saudi Arabia. Currently earning around £11 million annually at Chelsea, his preference is to compete at the highest level, especially after experiencing the disappointment of losing the Champions League Final with Inter Milan.

Al-Hilal, supported significantly by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, sees Lukaku as their potential marquee signing, instantly becoming their biggest star.

Lukaku is now scheduled for discussions with Chelsea regarding his future, following his loan spell at Inter this season. Inter Milan is keen on retaining the services of the Belgian international for the upcoming season.

While new Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino has shown a willingness to work with Lukaku, it appears that the striker is leaning towards pursuing a move away from Stamford Bridge.
