British Queen celebrates

Cambridge University students celebrated "Caesarian Sunday" with a fancy-dress drinking event on the college green, as thousands gathered to participate in the

annual tradition. Originating from over 80 years ago, when the Caesareans (Jesus College drinking society) would wrestle the Girton 'Green Monsters', the event has now been transformed into a day of drinking and games such as wheelbarrow races, slip'n'slide, and climbing lampposts.

Although the wrestling match has been banned, students continue to enjoy the occasion with drinking funnels and wine waterboarding. Unfortunately, one student had to be taken away on a stretcher after collapsing, while another was caught urinating in front of a police officer.

Despite attempts by Jesus College professors to hold the event on campus, students preferred the park where they could drink unsupervised.
